Part-Time Accounts Payable Representative

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain Accounts Payable system by performing vendor balance and invoice audits, requesting vendor records and reconciling AP balances with the vendor records.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and other billing documentation before processing payment.
  • Follow procedures to validate correct invoicing totals. Research billing discrepancies and escalate where appropriate.
  • Prepare checks and vouchers, using reports to validate accuracy of payments. Post payments in appropriate accounting software and/or spreadsheet locations.
  • Prepare corrections as necessary to the A/P accounting system, such as voiding checks, and correcting erroneous entries.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience performing accounting functions.
  • Must be able to regularly and reliably report for part-time work schedule with minimal unscheduled absences.
  • Strong knowledge of MicroSoft Excel and other Accounting software. Quickbooks and/or Exact Globe knowledge is a plus. Database knowledge a plus.

  • Task Management: Prioritizes tasks and monitors progress; Makes realistic estimates of time and resource requirements; Sees individual tasks through to completion

Electronics Tester (Must be willing to work 2nd Shift)

Essential Functions:

  • Retrieve equipment from designated areas, transport to testing areas, and access/follow applicable testing instructions. Clean and prepare equipment for further testing and repair. Place pre-tested equipment in appropriate locations, all while following established protocols for workplace safety and damage prevention.
  • Perform electro-mechanical repairs and/or assembly, as needed. Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets on chassis panel or other housing, as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience performing electro-mechanical repairs and/or assembly strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with technical equipment, part numbers, serial numbers, and other unique equipment identifiers preferred.
  • Experience with and ability to perform cable/harness assembly and/or solder through-hole or surface-mount preferred.
  • Ability to communicate & function effectively in a team environment through effective interpersonal relationship-building skills is required.
  • Ability to navigate computer software programs and work with e-mail required.
  • Ability to read and visually identify small serial numbers, part numbers, and other product identifiers is required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours per shift is required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Ability/willingness to work 2nd Shift

Restor Telecom predominantly employs individuals with the following backgrounds:

  • Component-Level Electronics Repair and Engineering
  • Hands-on Printed Circuit Board Troubleshooting and Repair
  • Electronic component and circuit board soldering, rework, and quality inspection

Occasional opportunities may become available for individuals with administrative, management, customer service, or accounting backgrounds as well.
